２前項に定めるもののほか、免許証等の更新を受けようとする者で更新期間が満了する日における年齢が七十五歳以上のものは、更新期間が満了する日前六月以内に第百二条第一項から第四項までの規定により診断書を提出した場合その他認知機能検査等を受ける必要がないものとして内閣府令で定める場合を除き、当該期間内にその者の住所地を管轄する公安委員会又は第百八条の三十二の三第一項の認定を受けて同項の運転免許取得者等検査を行う者が行つた認知機能検査等を受けていなければならない。
