Taxis and buses while on duty are excluded from the ban on riding in a vehicle driven by an unlicensed or alcohol-affected driver.

Explanation

Article 26-2, item 1 of the Enforcement Order lists vehicles used for a licensed passenger transport business, while in service, among the vehicles exempt from the ban on riding with a driver you know to be unlicensed or under the influence of alcohol (Road Traffic Act Art. 64(3) and Art. 65(4)). A taxi or bus passenger is therefore not penalized under those provisions.
